What are the dates (b., d., m.) for your Karl and where did he live (town and State)? Do you have the names of his parents, wife, all of his children and his siblings? If so, what are they? Most of the people of that name here in this country are descendants of the KRUMREIN families of the area of Jungholzhausen (and nearby towns) in what is now Wuerrtemberg in Germany. But we would have to get more on your ancestry in order to say definitely that yours were from that area. Unless I have your line in my records, it will take some research to get all the generations of your family and find out where they came from.
