CRUMRINE, age 4, b. KS - son William H. CRUMRINE, age 3, b. KS - son Mary CRUMRINE, age 1, b. KS - dau. John W. CRUMRINE may be the following man.....(following is the same message that I posted on another List) I have found another John CRUMRINE, age 30 (b. OH) in Warren Co., IA in the 1860 Census. He is evidently the same man as the John W. CRUMRINE who md. Elizabeth PARRISH on 22 May 1859 in Warren Co., IA. They were md. by Walter Ashley, M.G.. In the 1860 Census, Elizabeth's age was 17 and she was b. in IN. This John CRUMRINE is under #UN-328 in the microfilm #1597601 of my KRUMRINE/CRUMRINE records as filmed by the Family History Library (Mormon). He may be the same man as I have also numbered UN-347 in these records. I used the "UN" to denote "Unplaced"----my numbering for those persons whose ancestry I had not determined as yet when these records were filmed. This John W. CRUMRINE of Warren Co., IA is also listed in the "Roster of Iowa Soldiers, War of Rebellion", Vol. III and he gave his age as 32 when he enlisted in 1862 and said he was b. in OH. I offer this is a possible place for further research on your John Wesley CRUMRINE although this may be a different man. Could your John W. CRUMRINE have been md. before he md. Ellen???? If you think that this may be your John W., you might check the 1870 Census of Warren Co., IA for him. If you find anything new, please post your results here.
