Georg landed in Philadelphia in 1748 and Hans Michael had come somewhat earlier. I think Hans' descendants are generally in Ohio, Iowa, etc. While Georg's are PA and MD. However, Estelle "Stella" Isabelle was one of their kids. I know she had a sister because she married someone in another line of my Grandfather's family (Clarkston Wells, brother of Pleasant, who was married to Ann Bish. We are also decsended from Ann's Grandfather, Frederick). She was my maternal Great-Grandmother. She married Herbert Guy Norris in 1911. They had 3 children, one of them is my mother's (Mom is the oldest of 10) father, Herbert Donald Norris. He married Eva Madeline Bayless 12/1937. For those you keeping records, my grandmother, Eva, died March 16, 2007, at age 91 (would have been 92 on 4/9). They were married 70 years, together 72 years. We've always known if Grandma went first, Grandpa would follow soon after. There is nothing physically wrong with him. We've had a few close calls, but he is doing well. Will keep you posted when he passes. He's ready to "Go Home" and be with Grandma. If you pray, please say a prayer for him, as well as the rest of our family. These are very beloved people to us. We miss Grandma, but we know she's watching over us. If anyone wants info on their kids (My Mom and her siblings), grandkids and great-grandkids, let me know. I have photos of Stella and Herbert on their wedding day, she wearing a beautiful wedding gown, as well as from their 50th anniversary, and some of Stella when she was about 18, and a couple of Rosa Fike. I have no photos of Enos Crumrine. In fact, I haven't been able to find out anything about him. There are no wedding photos of my Grandparents, but I do have tons of photos of them, including their 50th anniversary, 20 years ago.My new email address is [email protected] Lynda Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Herbert and "Stella", as she was known had 3 children. Herbert Donald is my mother's father, and I don't have my paperwork in front of me, but my grandfather has a brother as well. I've only met him once. If I remember correctly, his name is Jack. I have a photo of Herbert Guy and Stella on their wedding day She's wearing a beautiful wedding dress, something uncommon back then unless you had money. I also have one on their 50th wedding anniversary, among other photos. I've got photos of Rosa Fike, Stella's mother, but none of Enos. Still haven't found any info on him. I saw my Aunt Vi a few years ago. I was in San Pedro, Ca., visiting my oldest son. She and her husband and daughter were on a cruise and Aunt Vi got sick and was taken to the hospital in San Pedro. I had forgotten meeting their daughter when I was a child. We call her Michael. Don't know her actual name. Aunt Vi is fine. My grandfather, Herbert Donald married Eva Madeline Bayless 12/37. Would someone please post either an on-line site where I can search marriages in the 1869 time frame or let me know how to order a copy of a marriage certificate. I am looking for the name of the father of Christiana Crumrine/Krumrein b. 1848 who married Benjamin Franklin Phillips b. 1842 (son of Samuel R. Phillips of Spring Mills.) It is also possible that they were married in Summit Co., Ohio. I believe her father to be either George Frederick Krumrein b. 1800 in PA or Henry Krumrein b. 1818 in Haines Twp., whose father I do not know either. Thanks in advance for your help.
Georg Lenhart KRUMREIN died in 1779, not 1879. I'm sure that was just a typo.

His 1880 marriage record says he was over age 21, but his bride Mahala was age 18 and was signed for by her father John BARR. Finley's death record says he died Aug. 21, 1898 at age 39y 7m 2d, so he would have been born in Jan. 1859. At his death he worked as a miner and lived at Tappan in Franklin Twp. where his wife's parents also lived. Thanks to the Harrison chapter of OGS for pointing to these records. But none identify Finley's parents.

I completed a survey of Busharts in the Civil War and to my knowledge and understanding, the great-great grandsons of John were in the Civil War. Legend has it that four Bushart brothers immigrated from Germany, John went to Kentucky and Tennessee and the other three went to states of the north. Consequently, the great -great grandsons of the four brothers opposed each other in the Civil War. Three were killed in action from the North and two were killed in action from the South.

Anna married Lester Ferrell and had 4 children: twin girls who died before the age of 2 , my father Gale and my aunt Opal Ferrell Gardner who died last year. George was a farmer and a hefty 300 pounds! Anna lived well into her 90's in New London, Ohio. I have never seen any pictures of George but my grandmother had kept a pair of huge overalls that he had worn.
