Alexander was in STANLY Co, NC in 1850!! His wife was Wincy, thus the "W". I looked these up but didn't write them down right J. F. and family WERE in Waco in 1880, and Alexander, his apparent father was also in Waco in 1880. That's good for me to know, because I didn't know what happened to him. Alexander was son of Stephen Crump b 1788 and Nancy Easley. Stephen was son of John Bushrod Crump and Mary Stephens. John was son of Adam Crump b abt 1699 and Hannah Bushrod. Adam was from Virginia, but born in Ireland. He died about 1750 in Virginia. John Bushrod relocated to NC just before or during the Revolutionary War to what was then Montgomery County. Adam's father was also a James Crump who died in 1735. I do not know his date of birth but likely sometimes in the 1660's. My aplogizies for writing before thinking this through earlier.
