Berrnie, a number of years ago I did a little research (not much) on the early Canadian Crumps. I recall that there were about 40-50 in one of the Census periods, but don't remember the date. I think the Census there is not dated the same as in the US, maybe 1901, etc. I will have to dig it out. I know I have it "somewhere". I was looking at the time for some Crumps I thought migrated to the Washington-Oregon area in the 1890's. I eventually found that they did not come from Canada, so I quit looking. But I do have that list that showed where they came from. Mostly England of course. but the names may mean something to you. I'll look for it at my office tomorrow. Thanks for the note. I'm not sure what Crump list you are looking for. But, the more I look at the Crumps in Kentucky between 1800 and 1810, the more I am thinking that you are from the New Kent County, VA, Crumps. There were only seven Crumps in KY in 1800 and not that many more in 1810. I'm thinking these are from Richard or Stephen of the William of New Kent County Crump line. If so, we have more than a dozen descendants in our DNA Project. This could confirm that.
