A valuable family horse belonging to Henry CRUMP, deputy county collector, was killed yesterday. Dr. H. B. ADAIR, of Kansas City, claimed that the horse had hydrophobia. The animal heretofore has been gentle. Thursday it grew wild and had a tendency to bite everything in sight and was extremely vicious. Mr. CRUMP does not know when the horse was bitten. Several weeks ago a dog affected with rabies bit several animals on the FRANKLIN farm east of town and a number of animals have been killed in consequence. ====================================================== (I have no connection with this family but I'd appreciate knowing if you found this posting helpful.) johnobrien@kc.rr.com ====================================================== neirbo8 Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
