Seeing more Crumps from England on the list is exciting for me! Are any of you researching the family from James I (1603) to about George II (say 1727)? I am particularly interested in the Crumps who migrated to Ireland in the late 1600's, say from 1670 - 1700. I know they were English, but do not know why they went to Ireland. And I wonder if the Rev. Richard Crump of Ireland (1670-1737) was the son of Sir Richard Crump of Bristol. I know he had a son, Richard, but some have speculated that the son went to America. Sir Richard married (2) Margaret Howton, does anyone know his first wife's name? I am also interested in the James Crump who married Catherine Mayo in England in 1677. Thank you, Ed Crump in Louisiana, USA.
