    1. [CRUMP] Part X, UNION VETERANS 1861-1865
    2. Constance M. Diamond
    3. Union Crump Veterans 1861-1865 Abstracted from "The Roster of Union Soldiers 1861-1865", Edited by Janet B. Hewett, Published by Boradfoot Publishing Company, Wilmington, NC, 1997. This publication was in about fifteen-twenty volumes, and unlike the roster of Confederate Soldiers, this one is listed by state in separate volumes. Most of the southern states did not have records of the Union soldiers, and when this is the case I will at least give the number reported for Union Troops. Additionally, and interestingly, there were more Union Soldiers listed for Crump in the United States Colored Troops than in all the other published lists put together. That list is included here. While the states are not listed for the "Colored" troops, the unit is, so that can be determined from other sources. Keep in mind that there are three categories of states listed: 1. Those who had Crumps listed, 2. Those that did NOT have Crumps listed, and 3. Those that did not have lists available, but did have total number of Union Troops.
