It appears that while my African American Crumps were from VA they were slaves to Crumps from NC who migrated to Monroe County, MS. Do you have information on why the Crumps migrated from VA to NC to MS? Also, I'm seeking documents such as wills, etc that list the property held by the NC Crumps. . .specifically Joseph J Crump and his children.
