I'm searching for Crumps that migrated from VA to MS. Specifically, African American Crumps Thanks Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. There were at least three early Crumps who had descendants eventually migrating to Mississippi by the early to mid 1800's. All three of those Crumps had slaves at some point. The 1850 and 1860 slave schedules could be of some help, but will take some work to determine which ones your ancestor was attached to. Sorry I can't be of more help, but i will send you a copy of the 1850 and possibly 1860 census data for Crumps in Mississippi at that time if you will send me your direct email address. I can't put attachements here.
