I will forward you the e-mail that includes this reference- it is the only breakthrough I have had on this family at all. So, no, I still don't know the name of Lucy's parents. The 1799 or 1800 tax list for Hanover County only lists one Crump that I could find. The name is difficult to read- looks like Pumpkret! I'm thinking Pomfret? The only Crump in Henrico Co. in 1820 with a daughter Lucy's age was Fortune P. Crump. The P is interesting- could it be the Pumpkret person- I don't know! I have found almost nothing about Fortune P. Crump- except that he was the parent of Crutchfield. Have you done any research in the Virginia records???
