Since Richard was born in 1743 he would be the son of Richard Crump and his first wife Lucy Hunt who died in 1753. In colonial times one would not distinguish between a half brother and full brother, especially if they shared a surname. I have Judah in my records as the sister of Abner and Goodrich based on St Peter's Parish register and had always thought that Goodrich was the son of Mary. I do not see anything that points to Richard being the son of Mary. Richard is my line there is a lot of circumstantial evidence pointing to a relationship with the Hunt family.
