    3. Allen, my Adam had two sons by his first wife who apparently died between the time my Adam wrote his will in 1748 and the time it was finally probabet in 1853. His two sons and one daughter by his second wife all moved to Montgomery Co., NC in the 1770's. Most of them died there, but John Bushrod, Jr. moved to Mississippi and died there. No evidence of any of them evere being in Tennessee. His Will only mentioned two daughters, so I had discounted him in relation to my John R. I now wonder if the newly mentioned heirs never did live in Tennessee. What location do you have for this John Bushrod Crump and the mentioned children? Prior to 1850 I can only find two Adam Crumps. One was my ancestor and the other one was a grandson to Conrad Crump, but he wasn't born until 1827. My adam died between 1750 and 1752 in VA. My adam never lived in Tennessee. I don't think the other one did either. So, there must have been another Adam Crump around that I don't know anything about. But, I am certain that John Bushrod Crump had chlildren Stephen, Nancy (Harris) and the other one you named. Any ideas?
