Adam, according to the heirs mentioned in a Notice of Sale (estate) is probably the son of John Bushrod Crump of VA and Montgomery County, NC. W.H. Crump, according to a notice of his death, was born in Fairfax County, VA. Census records generally list the place of birth of the people as VA or NC. A couple of cases list MD. Any help in placing these people in one place or another would be helpful in trying to sort them out. Clenny and May are closely related families.
