CEMETERY PLOTS AS LAND RECORDS Cemetery plots, especially in public cemeteries, are also considered land records. You can find indexes to plot deeds in the County Recorder's Office of the appropriate county. These deeds are often invaluable because the owner of the plot may be a distant relative you didn't know about. Be certain to check out who bought the plot. Constance
