Hi Everyone, I have just joined this list and I am excited about getting started. I have been researching a Tom Crump (former slave) born about 1856 in Anson County, probably Ansonville Township for the last 5 or 6 years and I am not getting anywhere by myself. Tom married Callie Ingram from the same area between 1875 - 1880. They had the following children: Branch (born 1880) Pearl (born 1881) Jennie (born 1883) Henry (born 1887) - My grandfather Tom (born 1889) I would appreciate any information on possible Crump slave owners from Ansonville, or any information on the above names. Callie was still living in 1911, but not sure when she actually died. Thanking you in advance. Joyce
