    3. Again, mainly for Chris (cccrumpga); Chris, I didn't realize both these messages were from you. I am VERY interested in the paragraph about James and John's Revolutionary War Service. I have never been able to get anything in print about this subject, although I understand that they were both at the Battle of Guilford's Courthouse. I have also heard about James being a Page to Washington, but have never been able to find out anything about that either. Did you make copies of anything? Please email me directly about those two items as well in the other message I just sent you. Address is edcrump@coughlinsaunders.org. I would love to see that 1956 article. I know that James was in charge of the NC Militia until he died and that John Bushrod Crump, II, (his son) succedded him. I have seen pics of the Cotton Farm gravestones in the past and talked to a couple people who have actually been there. I have never been able to figure out whether this was James and John Bushrod or James and son John Bushrod, II, or John Bushrod and son James. Has anyone ever firured this out for sure?
