I know there are errors in the book "A Crump on Every Stump", but it does help in some instances. It says Richard who married Mary was the son of Richard (#4 in the book) and wife Frances. The book only gives one Goodrich, the son of Richard and Mary, and says he married Judith Howlett 15 Jan 1779 in Chesterfield Co., VA. Lucy evidently died in September, 1753 (must have died in childbirth with John born 25 Sep 1753), and Richard and Mary's first child Abner was born 5 July 1756. If they just hadn't named their children the same names over and over again, things would be easier! Sandra Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
