I am looking for any info on George Robert Crump who was my great grandfather. He married Mildred Barnes Turner of Greensville County, Virginia. George was born in 1830-31 in Virginia. Bible records (note on a slip of paper only) say that George's father was Robert W. Crump (son of Jesse?) Census records in 1880 place George with his family in Greensville County, VA. From there the family moved to Portsmouth, VA....Several Crump son's worked for the railroad including my Grandpa, Richard Mason Crump. Anybody out there know anything about George??
