Mr. Crump was born in Caldwell County to the late Colden Crump and Ruby Ellison Crump. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jane Brooks. He was a truck driver for the Lilly Co. Survivors include his wife, Elisa Woods Crump of the home; a son, Ethan Kenlee Crump of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Mickey (Chrystal) Summerlin of Hudson; a sister, Mrs. Jerry (Rebecca) Sanders of Granite Falls; and two grandchildren, Carter and Kylee Summerlin of Hudson. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at 4 p.m. at Blue Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Jack Lewis and Jerry Keller officiating. Online condolences may be placed as www.mem.com.
