    1. [CRUMP] CRUMP FAMILY Connections
    2. Constance M. Diamond
    3. Hello Everyone, I have recently taken over the management of the CRUMP mail list. I apologize for being slow in introducing my self, but family health problems have a way of coming up unexpectedly and taking precedence over my genealogy. This is a nice sized list and still growing. We have had four new subscribes in the last two days, which brings our subscriber numbers to 50. It is because of these numbers I am a bit puzzled at the little participation in the exchange of ideas, information, and or queries to the list. So I am sending out a request to everyone.... Please submit your CRUMP family connections to the list. This is a Roll Call of sorts for family connections. I realize it is difficult to do a "roll call" of surnames and be successful with the roll call. That is why I am asking you to send your family connections. Lets make this list a functioning list and not just another name list that goes no where. My Best To All, Constance

    3. John, Can you give us locations on your gg grandfather, Daniel Crump. I have a Daniel Crump, b. 1788 (VA), d. 11/15/1858 (MO), m. (1) Elizabeth A. Fisher 4/20/1812 (KY), (2) Jane Cox (after 8/22/1849). His parents were Thomas Crump (1756 VA -1833 KY) and Frances "Fanny" Taylor (1760 VA -1818 KY). There is more lineage on this family in WFT 10-960. Your dates for Daniel were pretty close to the date of my Daniel, so let me know if the locations and/or other info. might match yours. A. 3. In looking over my emails, web searches, correspondence, etc. over the past four or five years, I only have twelve descendants of Adam Crump in my database. I am interested in putting together a listing of descendants for purposes of sending out up-dates on progress in his own ancestery. If you are interested in getting direct updates on Adam Crump going forward, I would appreciate your letting me know. Please let me know how you are related. So far, most of the descendants are from his son, John Bushrod Crump, but if you are descended from James Crump or Hannah Bushrod Crump, I will be happy to add you to the list. Thank you, Ed Crump, Jr. in Louisiana.

    1. TOM or THOMAS CRUMP - Anson County, NC
    2. Ingram, Joyce
    3. Hi Everyone, I have just joined this list and I am excited about getting started. I have been researching a Tom Crump (former slave) born about 1856 in Anson County, probably Ansonville Township for the last 5 or 6 years and I am not getting anywhere by myself. Tom married Callie Ingram from the same area between 1875 - 1880. They had the following children: Branch (born 1880) Pearl (born 1881) Jennie (born 1883) Henry (born 1887) - My grandfather Tom (born 1889) I would appreciate any information on possible Crump slave owners from Ansonville, or any information on the above names. Callie was still living in 1911, but not sure when she actually died. Thanking you in advance. Joyce

    3. Hello Adrienne, My CRUMPS are also English. It is only my great great grandmother who was born in Canada. Her parents were both born in England in the late 1790's to very early 1800's. I am just not sure where as yet. This is my previous message: My CRUMP ancestors are from Ontario Canada. Mary Ann CRUMP married John William SIMNING in Cornwall, Canada. Mary Ann had several brothers...Peter, Levi, William, Shedrick, and Michael... and two sisters....Elizabeth and Hannah, most of whom were born in Canada. At least as far as I know that is all of her siblings. Her father is believed to be Michael CRUMP, born in England. Her mother name is unknown, but thought to be Elizabeth also born in England. Do you have anything on a Michael born during the time period of 1790 to 1800, that might give me a lead to follow? 3. I have a John L. Crump born about 1791 in NC, married Anna Ayres on 9-13-1822 in Jefferson County, AL. Don't know his parents names or any siblings. He died in Arkansas sometime after 1870. Would like to find where in NC he was born, but can't find any connection for him there. I have him in census records in AR in 1850 with children: Viney, Charles, Sarah, Melinda, Jacob, Mary and Nathan. --
