    3. I wish to thank all who have been looking for this information for me. I now have the following paper copy from a microfilm: GEORGIA ARCHIVES, ATLANTA, GA Microfilm: "GA EXECUTIVE MINUTES 1855-1859" CONTAINED IN DRAWER 50, BOX 53 Executive Department Millidgeville, Georgia January 16th 1858 Official information having reached this department that a murder was recently committed in the County of Fannin by one William Erwin Crumby upon the body of John Crumby, and that the said William E. Crumby has fled from justice; therefore, it is Ordered, that the Secretary of State offer a reward by Proclamation of One Hundred Dollars for the apprehension and delivery of the said fugitive to the proper authorities of the County where the said crime was committed. By the Governor Joseph E. Brown H. H. Waters Secy Ex Dept. William Erwin Crumley b. abt. 1830 was a son of Thomas Charles Crumley and Susan Terrell. John Crumley was my great great grandfather.
