Linda, I just checked the 1850 data base Ken Crumbly sent me. There are no Arkansas names on the list. He'll be back from vacation in a few days and you can mention it to him. Jerry

    3. I realize this is not true genealogy searching but it is Crumley related and might be of interest to someone reading this list. While in waiting in the doctors office this past week I picked up a magazine OUTSIDE May 2002 issue. On page 58 a story by William Kittredge mentions his pals from 32 years ago, "the crime novelist, Jim Crumley of Arkansas",and Harold McDuffy who went camping with him to Bowman Lake in Glacier National Park. No family details about Mr. Crumley were mentioned. I had the office xerox the article for me. If this Mr. Crumley is related to you and you are interested in this article let me know.
