After reviewing my data and received that new reference from the Hopewell Friends History, I do believe that Ken and Clara have it correct, as stated in prior message of 9/27/02. I also have that this James, the son of Hannah and William Crumley, born abt 1864. I certain would make good, common sense that this is the other James. I base this on the fact that after James (Cromley) Crumley died, some 20-30 years later we find that the younger James was a witness to a marrige of Solomon Hoge and a Mary Fisher on March 5, 1794. It appears that this younger James was about 20 years old at the time. Our birth date for him his an estimate, but it is probably close to correct. Thanks everyone for you input. Judy
