The will of James, 1757 mentions that he had a brother and sister in England. James "divided his property among his children. John had received 219 acres which his father, James, has purchawd from the Gilkey's in virginia in 1748. SONS WILLIAM, AND HENRY were given 664 acres to be divided equally. The home plantation was to go to son Samuel upon the death of his mother, Catherine. 100 acres of land was bequeathed to his GRANDDAUGHTER RUTH DOSTER. His five children are mentioned as mary, John, William, Henry and Samuel. James appointed his beloved friends, Robert cunningham and George ross together with his belove wife Catherine Crumley. Excutors. June 27, 1757. Catherine Gilkey's mother was probably Barbara (Guilkey) Hagan. The children of William Crumley and Sarah Dunn were born between 1774 and 1800. James and Catherine's children were born between 1733 to 1743. that is what I have, anyway. Not unusal that the same names were used from one generation to the next. Judy
