    3. Does anyone else have a copy of the book by Allan Ray Wenzel of Seattle, Wa. entitled "The Crumley Family"? It seems to be an "add on" to Mottern's book and is about 180 pages. The foreword mentions three separate Crumley families who immigrated in the 1700's and settled in Lehigh Co., Pa. and Virginia areas. Two of these are the Valentine and George Crumley groups who lived in Pa.. The German Crumleys had changed their name from Gramlich/Kramlich to Krumly/Crumley. The possiblity that the James Crumley line is related to the German line seems remote and would have been prior to the mid 1700's if at all. The book also lists Henry (1780-1864) and Stephen (1784-1837) Crumley who moved to Fountain Co., In. and states that "family tradition" says they are sons of George I. I believe this has been proven to be false.
