These Harrison County Crumleys are children of Thomas, son of William. Larry Dickerson has done considerable research on this family - see his note dated April 9. It's interesting that not only did 3 of William's children moved to Harrison County, Ohio - Thomas, and his sisters Mary Heberling and Rebecca Wright - but also, as I mentioned before, the Irish immigrant James Crumley (b. 1801). I have the 1850 census record for James Crumley. According to the record (Harrison County, OH), he a physician, age 49, and born in Ireland. Other family members wrere Jane, 48, b. PA; Elizabeth, 20, b. OH; Margaret, 18, b. OH; Jane, 16; b. OH; and Isabelle, 10, b. OH. I think it's interesting that he moved to Harrison County, where there were several of our James Crumley descendents living.
