Jerry, My gggrandfather Copeland drove a stage couch from Collinsville to Rising Fawn GA. This part of the country across from Collinsville to Rising Fawn has some huge mountains. And north GA from there on over to Union Co. GA is even more so. Robert must have been in very good health to walk from Birmingham to there.....Highway 11 does go to Collinsville. There is a road from Collinsville that goes up the mountain that you can still drive up. It is narrow and has many curves. We were on it a year or so ago. This road goes by Copeland Bridge community. Billie Crumly might know the name of it.
