    1. [CRUMLEY] James' birthdate

    3. Hello I can't say for sure where the information came from that James was born in 1712 in Yorkshire. In the same genealogy done for my Grandfather it states that "James came from Yorkshire, England." Just like this same works said he had a son named James Jr. No documentation. The information is not supported. As there are many mistakes in this works, if anyone is using it for their documentation, please email me. I have worked with this history and spent some time proving or disproving what's in it. I believe Truett has found who he believes to be James' parents, and he gave a film number, if I remember correctly. Maybe, Truett, you could elaborate on this as it may be the documentation we need. The company doing this genealogy for my Grandfather were suppose to be professionals and they included this history along with many others in a 16 volume history called " Colonial and Revolutionary Linages of America". Hope this sheds some light on where some information has come from Arlettia Crumley Fyfe

    3. > I can't say for sure where the information came from that James was born in 1712 in Yorkshire. "Colonial and Revolutionary Lineages of America" states James was born in Yorkshire, Eng. I never read where it gave his year of birth. "Patillo-Holleyman-Crumley and Allied Families" says he emigrated from County Monaghan, Ireland. Both of these statements may be true. But I would NOT trust anything the LDS library claims unless I had secondary documentation. Jerry
