    3. We need a chairman for each of James' children. That person will be responsible for finding chairpersons for each of that ancestor's children, etc, until the line has been pretty well filled out. It's going to get a lot of people involved. We need to define an initial stopping point. 1830 is an good place to stop; it's a century of Crumley "multiplication." As each line is completed to 1830, we can add the next generations up to, say, 1900. Even that may be too ambitious. Here are James and Catharine's issue as I have it: John, William, Mary, Henry, Samuel. If you're from either of these lines, please feel free to volunteer your energy for this project. Regarding the non-James related Crumley families; I admit I'm not too sure how many there are. Valentine and George come to mind. If someone has a handle on those lines, please speak up and let's get started on them too. Jerry

    3. I spent a lot of time researching William's children, and would be glad to coordinate our efforts on those lines. Within the last couple of years, I have been in contact with descendents of several of his 15 children (7 sons and 8 daughters), some recently. I've commented before how many more list members seem to be descended from John than from William. Incidentally, among John's five known children, neither Henry nor Samuel has any known descendents. His daughter Mary had children by Thomas Doster, and maybe also by Jesse Faulkner. I'm fairly sure that all of our list members who are descended from James Crumley are descendents of either John or William. paul -----Original Message----- From: Jerry Crumly [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, April 17, 2002 11:24 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [CRUMLEY] Chairpersons We need a chairman for each of James' children.
