This is a multi-part message in MIME format. --------------99C3D25FE8A19C9FF00CE454 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit First let me express my thanks to everyone for all this information. But there really is a flood of stuff so would it be possible to do a few things to allow us to sort through the emails. I seem to have an overwhelming number of them in my inbox. 1. Can we please put the correct subject matter in the subject line. I have read a number of them which simply state James Children as reference but really apply to either William and Hannan Mercer or the tracing of the Mercer line back. This would be a great help when trying to sort them out. 2. The second request which I pray you will not consider Whining is that if you feel the same way as someone - Please Please do not just press the reply button to send this to the entire mailing list. This would be a great candidate for modifying the address line and just sending this response back to the originator. Thanks so much and I wouldn't take anything for this great list and look forward to the website coming soon. (We hope). Also thanks to all the wonderful researchers who are giving their research efforts to us all across the country. I hope there will be a way to get the images of many of these original documents for our files. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and you do not have to reply to this email. Perhaps Jerry will be the one to tell us the rules of conduct here so we can keep the email to a minimum. Now I suspect I have been in error on some of these too, so I will take this to mean me too. Well stated, Donna. Here is an excerpt from the rules I posted several times: "Always change your subject line and do not hit the reply button--- please begin a new email and do not quote entire message that you are replying to. This is rude and many people will not read your reply if they see a repeat. If you are subscribed in "digest" form, it is VERY IMPORTANT that you DO NOT just hit the reply button when replying to a message in the digest. This will result in sending the entire digest back to the list. Instead, you will have to "cut and paste" your reply into a new message window and then send it to the list." I seem to have gotten a little lax in controlling this; sorry.
