It would be a good idea to check the original microfilm census to see the age for Eliza. It could be a transcription error on the part of the publisher.. The LDS 1880 census is a transcribed version. I tried to find Chappel and Eliza Crumley in Bradley Co., Tenn in 1880 on the actual microfilm but don't know the District. # for Cleveland. I'll keep looking for page 286A. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nancy Lambert" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, July 07, 2002 6:39 PM Subject: [CRUMLEY] Jesse & Eliza Crumley > >From the 1880 census posted on Chapel & Eliza Crumley, it appears that John > Crumley may be a son from a first marriage. > John is listed as 14 yrs old and the wife of Chapel is Eliza age 22. > Eliza couldn't be the mother of John, as Eliza was only 8 when John was > born. > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Truett Crumley" <[email protected]> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Sunday, July 07, 2002 4:32 PM > Subject: Re: [CRUMLEY] More 1880 US census look ups?
