My grandfather was john and he also worked in accounts at the coal board up until his death in 1976. My great aunt Edith I remember, but there was only the two of them,perhaps Annie died? But was never mentioned and not known about by my father. Through ancestry.com I found out they lived in bacup, haslingden. His second wife was ann c.crowther - so that must be the rathbone connection. Mary Elizabeth his first wife was born in1875. What is your connection to George?
