And you expect everyone everywhere to have memorized every town in England? What about Australians researching the name? Unless your family was nailed to the spot, you need to be more specific, just in case someone in your family emigrated, and may have more info on your family than you do. You never know where information is going to come from, and the more info you give, the more likely you are to get a response. I'm looking for some Crowthers in South Carolina, and I don't have a CLUE what the town names are there. See what I mean?
