I have collected details of over 200 descendants of Jonathan CROWTHER (1759-1824) a Northowram, Halifax man who became one of the early leading figures in Wesleyan Methodism. I would be interested to hear from anyone researching his brothers Timothy (1757-1829) and Robert (1762-1833) who were also Methodist Preachers. They all trained in Northowram but spent their careers on-circuit and in a new station anywhere in the British Isles every year or two, so despite having large families, they rarely left many records in any one place.
