All we know about our James Crowther, is he had a daughter Ann, born approx 1854, who is our Great Grandmother, James was noted as been a Mariner, on his daughters marriage certificate, and the family rumour is he was drown at sea approx 1860, but his name was on his daughters marriage certificate, so we dont know now, if he attended the marriage or not, the plot thickens?.
