I am not sure if it is the same Herbert Crowther. My Herbert Crowther married an English woman called Elsie they emigrated to Sioux Falls in 1907 and they had a son called Arnold J Crowther around 1908. As I said previously I am not sure if the Herbert who emigrated to Sioux Falls is my great uncle. I was hoping someone in Sioux Falls knew their family history and could confirm he was the same man. If you think it is the same Herbert Crowther I would be happy to pass on the information of his English family.
