AGC is not a relative of our family history, but I did some searching on him because we have a portrait by him of a family member done in 1892. I was searching for this "A G Crowther" (on the painting) recently, as I was curious who the artist was - I didn't know anything about him / her. I have some information now and am still searching for more. Please let me know if you wish to ask anything. You might have the full picture, or at least something about his later life.
