not that I am aware of...the only Crowther I came upon from England was a George Crowther b. 1852 ENG. He was in St Joseph MO by 2 Nov 1887 when he mar. Mary Burges a MO native. The 1890 MO census gave the info he was 38 yrs old and born in Eng (no other details) . I suppose your Joseph could be a relative. The Lanc census for years up to abt 1887 might show any relation George and Joseph might have had. This was an off-shoot of my direct line and I kind of gave up on following it to England.
