I just looked at what I have for Samuel....obviously something wrong in my tracking because I too show him b. 1848, d. 1863....but show him married with kids. Oops! I am descended through Benjamin's daughter/Samuel's sister 'Harplissa'. She is the mother of my ggrandfather, Frank C Harper from around Pittsburgh. I can't seem to figure out his parentage. I have only been able to find her in the census when she lived with her parents, along with her 'son' Frank C Harper. No clue on HIS parents. BELIEVE Harplissa was born abt. 1863 in Ohio/Penna, d. 1929 in Penna. Have an article that she married a Wm. F. Gray in 1898 in Etna, Allengheny, Penna. Any clues from someone?
