She married Joe Pearson. Joe died in 1917 and Mary Elizabeth remarried - to Albert Stott. Mary Elizabeth's father was Robert Crowther. Robert was a cotton overlooker and farmer of 12 acres in the 1881 census. In 1891 he lived at Clough Head, Ripponden. In 1901 census he lived at Stansfield Hey, Ripponden. Robert's children were Emma 1880, Harry 1886, Ben 1888, Emily A. 1878 and Mary Elizabeth 1876. Robert's father was Samuel who was a weaver. Mary Elizabeth ran a pub called The Robin Hood in Ripponden. I've been told. I think it is now The Bridge Inn. My god-mother was Rene Crowther but not related.
