(I apologize if this post appears twice. I think I messed up the addresses on the first attempt.) Sarah (Sally) Crosswhite was the grandaughter of William Crosthwait and Milley Golding. Her parents were William Crosswhite, born Abt 1765 Culpepper Co., VA, d. 1845 Morgan Co., MO, and Elizabeth Mansell b. 1770. Elizabeth Mansell was the daughter of Robert Mansell and Elizabeth (Pratt) Mansell. Robert Mansell died in 1819, and his wife Elizabeth died in 1829, both in Stokes Co., NC. Mansell information comes from a portion of Robert Mansell's will (previously posted to the Crosthwaite mail list), and from an electronic source.
