Hi, My grandmother, Mary Ann Crosthwait, was a daughter of Thompson Right Crosthwait. There is also a Civil War veteran, John Crosthwait, buried in a Montgomery Co., Iowa, cemetary. This branch of Crosthwaits were early Iowa settlers, coming first to Bloomfield in Davis County. Prior to that from Fulton Co., Illinois and from early Kentucky back to Virginia.
