Anyone out there researching the many CRONKS who ended up in New Brunswick in the early 1800's? They have a poem about the CRONK family of New York, --- about three brothers who left Holland for NY, and how Casper did not like it and went back to Holland, where he made a fortune distilling rum or gin (can't tell, two different references). He invited the others back but they had made NY their home. Ay any rate, there were a huge clan of CRONKS, first at Mispec, New Brunswick, later at Grand Manan, NB, originally from NY. Would like to correspond with anyone researching same. ******************************************************************** Pam Wood Waugh, 730 Dunhill Drive, Orlando, FL 32825 (407)275-8514 ******************************************************************** Email: [email protected](home) or [email protected](work) Eastern Townships of Quebec genealogy page: http://www.magicnet.net/~moodies/et2.html My Family Lines: http://www.magicnet.net/~moodies "I think that I shall never see, a finished genealogy"
