This proof of Albertus' birth date confirms that most likely the John 1743 is correct and John 1767 is definitely wrong. Now I just need to find out who John's father was. Abraham 1741 is not possible, so is Abraham the brother of John, or maybe his cousin? Anyone with documentation / source information on John 1743 and his parents? I have found the babtism record in Sleepy Hollow DNRC for Abraham 1741, son of Theunis, but nothing for John. The Blake, Cronk and other UEL families left New York and settled in Ontario.
