After my trip in 2007, I found out that my Cronks were from the Dutch Crankheyt (various spellings). This was confirmed by doing a DNA test with my male Cronk cousin in Ontario. You may be able to get more information about the book or the Cronks at the website for the National Archives in Kew, England (nationalarchives.gov.uk), Best, Robyn.
