    3. H.E.....Good to see you are still at it also. One other thing in Emma's letter of interest. It appears that James may have fought for the Revolution and Jacob for the British. I believe that the Jacob that was killed at the Battle of Bennington was the nephew of James. He was on the side of the British. That's the way I have it figured out. Because there is a record of a Jacob Cronkright that saws up later on. There is also a list of Jacob's family and most of them were Tories and killed in battle. One of them was a Jacob. This is why I stopped on the book until it could all be cleaned up. Looks like you are still at the mystery and glad to get your new information. There has to be someone out there that knows of this family from Vt. Just to many in the family to be stonewalled like this. Like you, I hope these msg's bells a ring with someone. The other thing that may have happened and I have the names involved it that, the family went to Canada and then after thing died down came back and settled in Rutland, Vt. There is a gap in the period of the War and James in Rutland. Anyway all for now........Happy Hunting.........Court
