Hi Jo: As you requested here is my lines. James Cronkright to Mary (unknown). James born 1749 believed to be Amsterdam Holland. He and Mary are buried in the Doty Cemetery in S. Wallingford, Rutland, Vt. He died 21 Jun 1823 and Mary died 24 Jul 1810. 8 Children that I am aware of. William Conkright to either a Margret Ethwith and maybe a 2nd wife named Lydia. William born 1787 in Ruthland Co., Vt. and is buried in Williamsville Delaware, Oh. Died 2 Feb 1851. 14 children that I am aware of. Charles Elisha Conkright married to Emily Jane Smith, Davies Co., Ind 5 Oct 1851. Emily died ca. 1860. I have never found Charles, but it is said that he remarried a Sophia Hoffer following the Civil War. I have never found this record. I last find him in Indy, Ind. ca. 1868, then he is lost. 1 child that I am aware of. Horace Raymond Conkwright to Cornelia Ellen Erwin 12 Nov 1879 in Effingham, Effingham, Ill. Horace born 10 Mar 1856 and died 22 Jan 1944 in Champaign, Ill. 8 children. Courtland Erwin Conkwright to Nelda L. Riggin 26 Aug 1939 in Greenville, Bond, Ill. Courtland born 26 Aug 1904 Villa Grove, Douglas, Ill. Died 3 Apr 1985. 3 children. Courtland Curtis "Court" Conkwright to Candace E. Emerick 17 May 1969, Palatine, Cook, Ill. Court born 24 Aug 1940 in Highland, Madison, Ill. 3 children. You will note the number of times that my named changed. Of course we know how the Dutch were famous for doing this. I believe I have found the father of James Cronkright, but not sure yet. It was said and written that his father was one of the 3 brothers that came to America. We all know that story. I am very close to proving this. I have a paper that was written by Emma Conkright wife of George W Conkright stating this, but I want to be sure.
