Hi Marlene: This is the story on the Mackenzie Papers. I have a copy of them and I got them from the Westchester County Historical Society. This is from a letter written by Elizabeth G Fuller Librarian of Westchester Library. "The Mackenzie data on the Crankheit family is 10 pages only -- what you already have is complete. Mr. Mackenzie was a professional genealogist from Westport, Conn. He spent many years working on his compilation of the tenant families of the Philipsburgh Manor, which consisted of over 200 families. Most of the work was done during the 1950's and 1960's, and it was not complete when Mr. Mackenzie died." That was all she said about him. His name was Granville Mackenzie. I have always called his 10 page report the Mackenzie Papers. It is just to bad he never was able to finish his work. I hope this clears up the question on his work. Happy Hunting! Court
