Am diligently looking for any connection to Clarissa Cronk, from anywhere or anybody. CRONK, Clarissa; b. 1810; m. Norman IVES. In 1830's they were living in Northwest corner of MA, near the VT and NY state lines. The IVES genealogy gives here maiden name as CRONK - gives nothing else. She would be a contemporary of my GGGF, Jeramiah Cronk; b.1782; d.1868; (Ontario County, NY) who had a brother (name unknown), and a sister (Nellie), about whom I know little or nothing. Jeramiah's father was Stephen CRONK (or Cronkhite). Jeramiah's GF was James, his GGF, Jacob, his GGGF, Hiram. Clarissa could be the daughter of one of Stephen's brothers, if Stephen had any brothers.
